Anthony Orlinder Gorrell passed away on April 1st, 2026, after a brief illness, at Annie Penn Hospital. Anthony was born in Rockingham County on September 16th, 1964, to the late Thomas Gorrell and Mrs. Cordelia Craig Gorrell.

Anthony appreciated the simple things in life. He loved his wife, children and family dearly. He could be found at all the family functions, especially the covered dish nights. Anthony enjoyed trying out new restaurants and traveling. In his leisure time, Anthony might be doing anything from fishing to playing basketball.

Anthony has now joined his parents in eternal peace and rest.

Anthony will forever remain in the hearts of his wife, Mrs. Mylene Benito-Gorrell; his daughters, Keisha Benito, US Army and Katherine, of Georgia; his sons, Robert and Gabby, of Georgia; his two brothers, Thomas “Maurice” Gorrell, of Reidsville and Cameron “Bo” Gorrell (Angie), of Greensboro; four sisters: Terri Gorrell, of Reidsville, Sheila Williams, of Charlotte, Maxine Gorrell, of Greensboro and Teresa Gibson (Larry), of High Point, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
