Bobby Blakeney was born to the late Coleman Blakeney and Emiline Baker Howell on July 26, 1947. Bobby entered eternal rest on November 16, 2025. He was a loving and devoted family man. He notably was the official Historian for the family.

Bobby was a graduate of James B. Dudley High School and North Carolina A&T State University. He retired from Ball Corporation.

Bobby enjoyed watching television and hanging out with his grandsons. He loved flowers and had impeccable gardening skills. Bobby received the honor for House of the Year and Yard of the Month in his neighborhood.

He could be found watching his grandsons wrestling and playing football or eating at is favorite restaurant, Reid's House where they nicknamed him "Pinto".

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Coleman Blakeney and Emiline Baker Howell. His loving wife, Hope Blakeney; and granddaughter Emma Blakeney.

He is survived by his sons; Bobby Blakeney Jr. (Jennifer) of California, Fred Blakeney (Tabitha) of Reidsville NC and Gary Blakeney of Lynchburg VA. His sister Dorrie Peele (Milton) of Greensboro NC. Grandchildren; Kage Blakeney, Jalynn Blakeney, Cannon Blakeney, Mason Blakeney, Dillon Blakeney, Coleman Blakeney and Prince Blakeney.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
