IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elvis Charles
White
June 21, 1957 – January 5, 2026
Elvis Charles White, affectionately known as El, was born on June 21st, 1957, to the late Ben Eugene White and Madge Mae Crockran White. He departed this life on January 5th, 2026.
Elvis was preceded in death by his sister Ruby Mae McRae and his six brothers: Eugene Junior White, James Lewis White, Robert Foster White, Lonnie Gail White, Kenneth Lee White, Sr. and Garry Thomas White.
Elvis worked in textiles, manufacturing and concrete. He lived a full, yet simple life enjoying all its pleasures. He loved his western movies, sports and his and everyone else’s sweets, but most of all family. Elvis was a believer of God and was a witness to His Grace and Mercy.
Elvis leaves to cherish his loving memories: his eldest daughter, Lasheakia Towand Amerson, of Wadesboro, daughter (his little bugga) Latoya Patrice Harrell, of Greensboro, and his baby girl Tammy Shaunta White of Peachland. He also leaves behind his beloved grandson that he affectionately called (Junior), Lajames Buchanon; two granddaughters, Destiny Clyburn and Legacy Amerson, both of Wadesboro, along with five great grandchildren. Elvis has one living brother, Michael R. White, of Wadesboro, and three sisters and laws: Mrs. Roberta Ratliff, of Wadesboro, Alberta Bivens, of Marshville, Anita Price, of Baltimore, MD and Josephine White, of Georgia, in addition to a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
