Henry Allen Alverson, son of the late Genola Howard Alverson and Jake Alverson was born October 20, 1943. Henry departed this life on August 30, 2026 to go home and be with his God. A native and lifelong resident of Rockingham County North Carolina; Henry attended BT High School where he was a member of the Ag Dept. Henry was a loving husband, father, and very kind and loving person that will be missed by all his friends and family.

He joins his Father Henry and Brothers Harry, Edward, and Frank Alverson all whom preceded him in death in their heavenly home. He leaves to cherish his memory, his Wife of 38 years Betty Alverson, Stepson Dewayne P (Katrina), One Granddaughter Omeia Bullock, Two Great Grandchildren, Sister Fannie Alverson, Brothers Jake, James, and John Alverson, many Nieces, Nephews, and a host of other relatives, Friends.

The family would like to thank Pace of the Triad, Hospice, many nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives. Alice Brown, Jackie, Spanky Fredderick Siddle, Tajae Ramely, Shenele Ramely, Daisy Alston, Reshawn Singleton, Sandra Singleton, many nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives.
