James Kevin Price entered the world on November 28, 1963, and peacefully made his transition from labor to reward on January 28, 2026.

James lived life with passion and heart. He was an avid racing fan who loved anything made by Chevy and found joy in the thrill of the track. A true sports enthusiast, James proudly supported the Pittsburgh Steelers, the New York Yankees, and the Miami Hurricanes. He also enjoyed watching a wrestling match or two. In quieter moments, James could be found watching Westerns, The Andy Griffith Show, or scrolling through TikTok, always finding simple pleasures in everyday life.

James was a dedicated worker and spent several years employed at Harris Teeter in the warehouse and at Copeland Fabrics.

Above all else, family was the center of James’s world. He deeply cherished home-cooked meals and treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and those memories will forever be held close in their hearts.

James is now reunited in eternal peace with his parents, James Henry Price and Geneva Pass Price, and his beloved grandson, Miles Lee Graves.

James leaves to cherish his precious memories: the love of his life, Yvette Miles; his children, Amber Cirrea Miles of Burlington, North Carolina; James Kevin Price, Jr. (Kimberly); and Savannah A. Loftis of Pelham; his brothers, Russell E. Price (Renee) of Youngsville, and Gregory L. Price (Sherby) of Pelham; his sisters, Denise Miles; Tracy Barnes of Rock Hill, South Carolina; and Lisa Price of Pelham; his grandchildren, Nyla Kamari Price, Jaylah Kamil Price, and James Kevin Price III; his aunt, Cornelia Price of Pelham; his nephews, Eric Price (Red) and Edrick Miles; his nieces, Brittany Price, Jazmine Miles, Brianna Clemmons, Morgan Miles, and Ivy Grace; his best friend, Tyrone Knight; and a multitude of family and friends who will forever carry his love in their hearts.

James will be remembered for his warmth, his laughter, his deep love for family, and the lasting impact he made on everyone blessed to know him.
