Lanisha Laquisha Dobson entered this world on June 28th, 1996. She ended her earthly journey unexpectedly on March 5th, 2026.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Lanisha was a dependable, strong-minded woman with a great work ethic and faithful spirit. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, and she took great pride in loving her family. Lanisha was of the Holiness faith, and she was a dedicated member of the United House of Prayer. Lanisha had a heart for traveling, but of course, there was no place like home to her, where she could always enjoy her favorite meal: roast beef and potatoes, with a side of cornbread, lovingly prepared by her mother.

Lanisha leaves to cherish her memories: her two daughters, Laelani Lilliana Dobson and La’Niya Gabrielle Rankin, both of Yanceyville; her parents, Louise Jefferson, of Yanceyville, and Kim Dobson (Sue), of Detroit, MI; three brothers: Antonio Luckey, of Arizona, Joshua Pinkston, of Maryland, and Kim Dobson, Jr., of NC; three sisters: Ashley Luckey, Antica Luckey, of NC and Kadena Dobson, of California, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
