IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Morris
"Goodie" Kershaw

Morris "Goodie" Kershaw was born on November 12th, 1954, in Rockingham County to the late William Christopher Kershaw and Jessie Marie Mims. On January 25th, 2026, Morris completed his earthly journey.
Morris was a hard-working Christian man of many skills. He was a proud United States Army veteran, Army recruiter and substitute teacher. He later retired from Zarn Industries. Morris dearly loved his daughter, sister, and his faithful furry companions, JR, Bolo and Baby Girl.
In addition to his parents, Morris is now reunited with his four brothers: Reverend Walter Mims, Jr., James Mims, Russell Mims and Floyd Mims; his sisters: Brenda Perkins, Cheryl Diane Mims, Barbara Mims, Jacqueline Mims, Fannie Simpson, Louise Mims, and Katherine Watlington; nephew, Thomas "Scooter" Mims, and his former wife, Bernita Raeford Kershaw.
Morris lives on forever in the hearts of his daughter, Tonya Kershaw, of Gibsonville; his sister, Renessa Eaves (Gant), of Eden; nieces: Rita Perkins, of McLeansville, and Portia Watlington, of Atlanta; his brothers: David Mims, Sr. (Lillie), of Florida, Reginald Watlington, of Greensboro, Elder Leroy Willis (Kathleen), of Virgina and James Dalton, of Reidsville; brother-in-law, Charles McCollum, of Reidsville; sister-in-law, Koren Martin, of Reidsville, and a multitude of family and friends.
