Sulaiman (Buffy Watt)
Nuriddin
May 19, 1946 — Oct 22, 2026
Fairburn, Georgia
Mr. Sulaiman (Buffy Watt) Nuriddin, formerly of Reidsville, NC, transitioned from this life on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Born on May 19, 1946, to the late Willie Oscar and Violet Galloway Watt, he was the oldest child of this union. His early education took place in the public schools of Reidsville, and he graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in the Class of 1964. He went on to study education at Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, NC, graduating in 1968.
Over the course of his career, Sulaiman was employed by Men Stopping Violence and also worked as a consultant and family therapist. A proud member of OMEGA PSI PHI FRATERNITY, INCORPORATED, he carried that brotherhood with him throughout his life.
Sulaiman’s great love for his family and friends kept them dear to his heart, and assistance was something he always offered whenever it was needed. “Uncle Suli,” as his nieces and nephews would often call him, was the best uncle anyone could have, and he felt it.
Sulaiman was preceded in death by his brother, Barry “Bashir” Vincent Watt.
Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Myra, of Fairburn, GA; 11 children across the United States; two caring brothers, Willie Oscar (Michelle) Watt and Gregory Harrison (Paula) Watt; one doting sister, Evon “Candy” Watt-Wilkerson; and adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, and a plethora of friends.
Sulaiman will be missed and always loved. A celebration of life was held in his honor while he was still with us, so no funeral will take place.
