On the morning of June 24, 2026, Travis Stefan Witcher departed this earthly life. He was a loving, caring, and fun-loving son, father, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to all who knew him. Travis loved deeply and spoke honestly. He often said what others were thinking but were afraid to say. Though bold in his words, he was equally loving in his spirit. Travis had a special heart for people and was known for helping those whom others overlooked. He would gladly give his last to be a blessing to someone else. He was not concerned with what they did with it after he had given it, he simply wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. Through every challenge and adversity, Travis remained resilient, facing life with courage, strength, and determination.
Born on Father's Day, June 20, 1993, in Eden, North Carolina, to Elder NaTasha Witcher Brown and Bobby Morrison, Travis was a vibrant and beautiful baby boy who was loved beyond measure. He was a graduate of Morehead High School. Travis possessed a creative mind, which was evident in his work alongside his uncle, William Witcher, at Carolina Custom Creations, where he enjoyed restoring and beautifying automobiles.
Travis had a deep love for music and the peace it brought to his soul. He enjoyed singing, writing songs, and occasionally playing the keyboard. He also loved cooking which was a passion of his, food was the way to peoples heart and he loved to cook for his family and friends. In his spare time, he loved writing books and spending quality time with family and friends. He had a gift for making people laugh and could always brighten a room with his humor, quick wit, and unforgettable personality.
In February 2024, Travis rededicated his life to the Lord. He joined Greater Faith Fellowship Ministries, was baptized, participated in Bible Study, and actively supported church activities. His renewed commitment to Christ became an important part of his journey and testimony.
Travis was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Carlton Witcher; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Morrison; his brother, Anyhjae Tayshawn Brown; and his aunt, Costella Witcher.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Elder NaTasha Witcher Brown of and father, Bobby (Lonna) Morrison. Those left in addition to his parents is his beloved daughter, Isabella Witcher; his maternal grandparents, Minister Mildred (Freddie McCain; his paternal grandfather, Robert Morrison; his siblings, Minister Jay Butts, Prince Butts, Sara Brown, Josh Morrison, Jaden Morrison, and Braylon Morrison; his uncles and aunts, Elder William Witcher, Deacon Nathaniel (Felease) Witcher, Michelle Morrison Summers, Rhonda (Tavis) Morrison Pickard, Trish Morrison, and Monika (Wayne) Morrison Millner; his devoted girlfriend, Krysta Patrick; his lifelong friends, Rylon Lee Robinson and Stefan Jerome Pulley; and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
Though our hearts are saddened by his departure, we rejoice in knowing that Travis's faith, love, laughter, and enduring spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His legacy of compassion, resilience, and unwavering authenticity will never be forgotten.
