It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Tynicia Lavonqie Mance, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, who left this world on May 27, 2026, at Moses Cone Hospital. Born on July 24, 1995, Tynicia’s life was a radiant journey marked by love, dedication, and the pursuit of knowledge. She was a proud alumna of NC A&T State University, where she nurtured her dreams and aspirations, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Tynicia’s gentle spirit and unwavering strength were evident in every chapter of her life. Her presence was a calming light for those around her, and her kindness touched the hearts of family and friends alike. She shared a special bond with her father, Tyrone Mance, and her mother, Nicole Love, who will forever cherish her memory as a source of endless love and inspiration.
She was a devoted sister to Tyler Mance of Durham, North Carolina, Kyniha Shanti of Maryland, and Akeyla Bryana of Baltimore. Together, they formed a close-knit family whose ties were strengthened by Tynicia’s warmth and compassion. Her laughter, encouragement, and unwavering support will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A memorial service to celebrate Tynicia’s beautiful life will be held on June 5, 2026, from 1:00 PM at Blackwell Funeral Home Greensboro, located at 3200 North O. Henry Boulevard, Greensboro, NC 27405. This gathering will offer a moment for family, friends, and all who loved her to come together, share memories, and honor the remarkable person she was.
Though Tynicia’s physical presence is no longer with us, the legacy of her gentle soul and the imprint of her kindness will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her. She is remembered not only for the years she lived but for the joy and love she so freely gave. May her spirit continue to guide and inspire those she leaves behind.
