William Giordano passed away March 22, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to the late Jacqueline and Hubert Giordano, Bill spent his early years in Mountainside and other parts of New Jersey before eventually settling in Ruffin, North Carolina.

He proudly served in the United States Navy and was honored to have spent time aboard the USS Constitution. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to skilled work, building and repairing elevators—a trade he took great pride in. His commitment to helping others extended beyond his career, as he served for many years with several fire departments and also worked as an EMT.

He had a deep love for music, especially enjoying his reel-to-reel recordings, which brought him great joy over the years.

He is survived by his sister, Elise Betyeman, and her partner, Albert Zelek; his nieces, Allyson and Jenna; and his nephew, Logan all from NJ. He is also survived by his longtime partner since 2008, Jackie Lord, and his two beloved “babies,” his cats, Midnight and Pebbles. And so many other friends and family.
